Lambda Softball Association of Eastern Iowa (LSA) operates as a non-profit 501(c)3 and is a community organization whose purpose is to provide educational and competitive opportunities related to amateur slow-pitch softball for members of the Eastern Iowa lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer or questioning, intersex, asexual, agender, and our allies.
 

Founded in 2017, LSA is Eastern Iowa’s only LGBTQIA+ softball league. We are one of 57 member cities that are part of the national organization, International Pride Softball/iPride. 
 

Our LSA volunteer Board and Committee Members work hard each year to bring together the Eastern Iowa LGBTQIA+ community along with our straight and cisgender family, friends, and allies who advocate for and support LGBTQIA+ equality. We do this by providing our members with a safe space where they are afforded the opportunity to learn the game of slow-pitch softball and compete in an environment welcoming and open to the LGBTQIA+ community.
